A.F. Knotts Library Spring Book Sale
It is time again to load up your library with your summer reads. The Friends of
the A.F. Knotts Public Library will hold their Spring Book Sale beginning Saturday, April
14. Enjoy breakfast at the Yankeetown-Inglis Woman’s Club Pancake Breakfast next door
and stroll over to stock up. The sale will continue through the following Saturday during
library hours – Tues 3pm-8pm; Weds & Thurs 9am-5pm; Sat 9am-1pm - 11 56th Street,
Yankeetown. Spring cleaning? Book donations are welcome. You may drop them at the
library during hours listed above prior to April 14.
Woman’s Club Pancake Breakfast
Looking for some place to spend a relaxing morning being waited on? Stop by the
Woman’s Club on 56th St. in Yankeetown, Saturday, April 14th from 8am-10:30am and let
us spoil you. That’s right, all the cooked to order buttermilk pancakes you can eat, sausage,
juice and coffee, $5 adults and $3 children 10 and under. What better way to enjoy the first
days of spring, than to let someone else do the cookin’.
