Good Food, Good Company– There was a very good turn out for outgoing Coun-
cilman Norm Shannahan’s retirement luncheon. The new Mayor and Council were sworn
in thanx to County Commissioner Marsha Drew, who did the official oath for the new line-
up. Thanx to Councilman Mike Lineberger for cooking hamburgers and hot dogs. Thanx
to Town staff who worked on the whole thing. Thanx to the weather which cooperated
enough to have a gorgeous day.
New Day - The March 5th Town Council meeting was also the new Mayor Janie
Hinson’s first meeting. I hope it went well. Meetings are tough on a Mayor, and hopefully
we were all very nice to her. Good Night and Good Luck
