Citrus amnesty on collection fees, Through Mar. 3
Citrus County Clerk of Court Angela Vick is announcing an amnesty on collection
fees, Feb. 27 through March 3, in the "Spring into Savings" program. Those who have over-
due traffic or criminal fees and fines will be allowed to pay those charges in full and save the
additional 25% collection fee.
The office is open Monday - Friday. Hours are 7:30 am until 5:00 with extended
hours on Tuesdays (7:30 am - 6:00 pm). Payments can also be made by phone by calling
352-341-6424 during the hours of 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Citrus County Submittal Period for Tourism
Grant Funding open through March 24
The Citrus County Tourist Development Council announces that it will continue
to receive grant applications for Tourism Grants through Friday, March 24. The application
period for the first funding round of 2017 opened in January.

For four years straight Zumba Citrus members in Homosassa have been collecting and donat-
ing Valentines Bears to give some love to Citrus County home bound seniors that receive
Meals on Wheels. This year Zumba Citrus collected 297 adorable teddy bears in gift bags.
This number was enough for all Citrus County home delivered meal clients to receive a bear of
their own. Special thanks to Joyce Groh, Zumba Instructor and Betsy King at Zumba Citrus, and
all the Zumba Citrus members for donating and organizing this heartwarming program. In the
