shark research of mote marine laboratory. Dr Hueter will present a powerpoint presenta-
tion and discussion on the shark nursery areas off the Withlacoochee river, whale sharks in
the gulf, and other research being conducted at Mote marine laboratory in Sarasota.
Grand Opening, Inglis AMVETS, Feb. 5, prizes & food
The William Crow Memorial AMVETS Post 447 invites members and the public
to help them celebrate their long journey to their new post by attending their Grand Open-
ing celebration on Sat., Feb. 5, starting at 12:00 noon. There will be door prizes and lots of
good food and desserts. For a $4 donation, you can enjoy pork, chicken quarters, deep fried
turkey and your choice of fixings. The new location of the post is 405 E. Hwy. 40, Inglis.
