Eagle Watch planned at landfill Feb. 21
The Citrus County Central Landfill will host an Eagle Watch at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Febru-
ary 21. Birders will be able to listen to a short presentation by Jack and Pat Casselberry about
bald eagles before the tour. The birding trail is hard packed dirt, and vehicles must be used.
Car-pooling will be encouraged. Bring binoculars or scopes. There will be several stops
at vantage points where eagles, vultures, gulls, and other birds may be observed.
