A Wedding At Historic Rock Church
Tuesday Renee McCranie & Daniel Steven Northsea were officially united in mar-
riage in a civil ceremony in Waldorf, Maryland in late November.
On New Year's Eve, a "family ceremony" was performed at 5:00 p.m. at the Rock Church in
Yankeetown by Pastor Lamison to allow the family to be part of this union.
Tuesday is the daughter of Charles McCranie of Inglis & Faye McCranie of Yankee-
town. Tuesday is a graduate of CRHS, freelance photographer and web designer.
Daniel is the son of Steven & Michelle Northsea of Dunnellon. Daniel is a Sergeant First
Class in the U.S. Army, previously stationed in Waldorf, Maryland. Daniel has been trans-
ferred to Fort Campbell, Kentucky where they will begin their new life together.
The bride chose a "Oleg Cassini" strapless gown with a bouquet of Gerber
daisies. She was escorted by her father to the "waltz" being played on a fiddle by Ray
Arnold Jr. Karen Johnson (aunt of the bride) sang "From This Moment On" accompanied by
her nephew, Ray Arnold, Jr.
The groom's attendants were Michael & Tyler Northsea, cousins of the groom and
friend, Brett. The bride's attendants were lifelong friends, Veronica Reddish, Chelbe Camp
and goddaughter, Kourtney Camp.
Flower girls, Madison Glover (age 9), niece of the bride dropped daisies while
Madison Northsea (age 2), daughter of the groom, picked them up, adding them to her own
basket.
Ushers were uncles of the bride, Billy Johnson & Ken Goodenough and brother of
the bride, Josh McCranie.
An elegant Reception/New Year's Eve Gala followed the ceremony at the Dunnellon
VFW post complete with dinner, dancing and ringing in the New Year. The entire room was
draped in black & white motif with tiny white lights hanging from the ceiling, down the walls
and adorning the gift and food tables.

Year's Eve seemed like the perfect time for an evening of celebration and "new beginning".
Due to the exceptionally short notice and it being a holiday, we found ourselves scrambling
for a church for their "ceremony". I mentioned the Rock Church, and emailed her some
pictures. Tuesday was ecstatic, she thought it was perfect. She knew her grandfather preached
there and her grandmother loved it dearly. Tuesday said it was so nostalgic to be married in
that beautiful old church that meant so much to her grandmother.
On a more humorous note, since we lived out of state during the years my children
were growing up, my daughter was not aware that my mother preached. When I agreed that
it would be perfect, "your grandfather and your grandmother both preached many sermons
within those walls". Tuesday said "I didn't know that grandma preached". "I thought she
