than 20 grams (a felony amount). His bond was set at $2,000.
Amanda Nicole Scott, 27, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's

Office, Jan. 29, charged with failure to report suspected child abuse, a felony. Her bond was

set at none.
Brandy Safawna Smith, 40, 588 Hwy. 40 W., Inglis, was arrested by the Levy

County Sheriff's Office, Jan. 29, charged with possession of a controlled substance without
a prescription. Her surety/cash bond was set at $15,000. The arrest came as the result of a

traffic stop of a truck in Inglis at E Cason Blvd. and Daisy St. in which Smith was a passen-

ger. The report stated the arresting deputy saw a clear plastic bag protruding from Smith's
upper undergarment which contained one hydromorphone 4 mg pill (a Class II controlled

substance).
Timothy James Beasley, 24, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's
