Citrus County Utilities Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM Program is offering a free
gardening workshop on February 21, 2017 from 2:00-3:30 pm. The components of Flori-
da's soils and geology need to be considered when making landscaping installation and best
management choices. The soils pH, proper fertilization choices and appropriate supplemen-
tal irrigation practices can impact the sustainability of our ornamental gardens. Learn ways
to effectively manage plants growing in sandy Florida soils. Classes are held at the Citrus
