December Herbicide treatments on Lk. Rousseau
During Dec. 3-21, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will conduct
aquatic weed control operations in Lake Rousseau, in order to maintain boat trails using the
EPA approved herbicides Glyphosate, Reward, Aquathol K, and Aquathol Super K. People
using treated areas of Lake Rousseau for domestic purposes or for irrigation are cautioned
not to use treated water for 5 days in Reward treated areas, 7 days in Aquathol Super K
treated areas and 14 days in Aquathol K treated areas. Treated water should not be used for
watering livestock for 1 day in Reward treated areas. Treated water should not be used for
