On Tuesday, Dec. 20, Inglis children will meet with members of the Inglis Police
Department for the department’s 3rd-annual “Shop with a Cop” shopping expedition! Chil-
dren, along with their parents or guardians, are asked to meet at the at the Ocala Walmart,
located on Hwy. 200, at 6:00 p.m. It is important to be on time for this fun event, because
the children who are on time will be anxious to get going - so please do not be late!
According to Lorraine Barber, administrative assistant with the police department,
donations were accepted through Wed., Dec. 14th. “If all children that have signed up are
able to make it to Walmart on the 20th at 6:00 p.m., we will be taking 69 children,” said
Barber. “I think that is a great group for our small town.”
On behalf of the police department, Barber said she wanted to give the donors
