Nolan stated that it was he in the photo and questioned the deputy about the video. Nolan
was told that the video was from the bank robbery. Nolan told deputies that it was he (Nolan)
in the picture, so he guessed he robbed the bank, but didn’t remember doing it - he repeated
this, numerous times. He kept asking, why would he rob a bank in a town where everyone
knows him?
When the van was searched, deputies located a bag that contained the blue shorts
that were allegedly worn during the bank robbery. Inside the bag, deputies also found less
than 20 grams of cannabis.
The driver of the van was issued a warning number for driving over the fog line and
given a verbal warning for littering the highway.
