TBARTA to hold workshop Nov. 30
Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority (TBARTA) is reporting that it
is one step closer to finishing the regional master plan for multi-modal transportation in the
seven-county West Central Florida region that includes Citrus. Citrus residents are being
invited to join the efforts and assist in creating the master plan for a comprehensive and
progressive transportation system to serve area residents and businesses into the next cen-
tury. Fourteen workshops, one in Citrus, are scheduled at locations around the region.
Thousands of Lights are on In Dunnellon
Thousands of twinkling holiday lights will once again adorn the shops of Dunnellon’s
Historic Village during their annual Victorian Holiday Festival which takes place on Saturday,
November 29 from 5 to 9 pm. Back this year will be a kids early bird happening with games and
contests beginning at 1 pm at the corner of Cedar and Walnut Streets. A bounce house, giant
slide, Pets Plus fish pond, chalk art, balloon pop , face painting by clowns Pockets & Rosebud
and Hard Times the clown will be creating his amazing balloon animals. This years event will
again feature horse drawn sleigh rides with the magnificent draft horses of Ocala Carriage and
