Inglis Woman stopped for speeding, arrested on drug charges
Jaclyn Elizabeth Kinkade, 22, 185 Hawthorne Dr., Inglis, was arrested by the Cit-
rus County Sheriff’s Office, Nov. 16, charged with possession of a controlled substance.
According to the arrest report, Kinkade was stopped for driving 57 mph in a 45 mph zone
at Hwy. 496 and Forest Ridge Blvd., around `1:20 a.m. She was given a written warning for
speeding and gave consent for her vehicle to be searched. Officers found 25 suboxone 8 mg
pills (schedule III narcotic) inside her vehicle. She was placed under arrest and transported
to the Citrus County Detention Facility where her bond was set at $5,000.
Inglis Woman Arrested for Battery
Patricia Bailey, 49, 10950 S.E. 201 St., Inglis. was arrested by the Levy County
Sheriff’s Office just before midnight, Nov. 14, charged with battery. According to the arrest
report, Bailey got into an altercation with another woman at Bubba's Fin & Feather bar.
The victim said that Bailey had attacked her and struck her in the face with a closed fist.
The incident was witnessed by several people at the lounge. Outside, Bailey told the deputy,
“That ... deserved it. I beat her ...” She was transported to the Levy County Jail. She was
later released on her own recognizance.
