Unexpired term on PDBR Open
Pet Patrol
The Citrus County Planning and Development Review Board (PDRB) has an open-
ing for a citizen volunteer from District 3 to serve out the term of Walter Pruss, whostepped
down from the board.
County Commission District 3 encompasses some of the Lecanto area north of
State Road 44, Black Diamond, Beverly Hills, some of eastern Pine Ridge and most of Cit-
rus Springs, except the northwest corner. The deadline for applications is Oct. 14.
The PDRB is a volunteer advisory board appointed by the county commission that
reviews development applications before they go to the commissioners. It makes recom-
mendations to the commission on proposed changes to the Citrus County Comprehensive
Plan and the Land Development Code for development.
The PDRB has authority to rule on Variance and Conditional Use applications. The
PDRB also provides direction to staff regarding land use amendments as well as text amend-
ments on development issues.
The PDRB meets the first and third Thursday of the month at 9 a.m. at the Lecanto
Government Building. The unexpired term for the open seat will expire on Jan. 31, 2012.
