On Wednesday, September 15th, Yankeetown School held a FCAT Awards Ceremony to honor students from grades 4 through 8 who achieved high scores on the 2009-2010 FCAT.
Students were honored in math and reading if they earned a level 4 or 5 on the test, with 5 being the highest level possible. As you can see from the pictures, there were many young students
who showed outstanding achievement on the FCAT. Students were given both a certificate and a medal to honor their success.
Students in 4th and 8th grade were recognized for achieving level 6 on the FCAT Writes.
Yankeetown is proud to have such diligent,successful students. We thank all the support of the faculty, staff, parents, community and students for always putting their best efforts in
for a excellent school year. All the hard work paid off as Yankeetown School received an “A” grade for all of its academic achievement on the 2009-2010 FCAT. Way to go, Yankeetown School.
