day night and 30 minutes after we arrived we were on the receiving end of a rainstorm like I
haven't seen since the hurricanes of 2004. It pushed dirt into our screened-in pool deck and
into the pool. With the pool pump not working (it was scheduled to be fixed the following day)
our pool was quite a mess.
We had planned to spend several days of the second week of our vacation taking the
grandchildren to Disney World and different places. Instead we spent three days waiting on
the pool pump which had to be back ordered. ?
We also had to spend several hours straightening out our bank account. While we were
between Berkeley Springs and Kathie's Mom's house in Hazleton W.V. someone stole our
debit card information. In a 48 hour period the thief managed to charge $1,500.00 to our
account. The charges were taken off almost immediately after we contacted the bank, but we
had to cancel the card and get a new one. I tried to get several law enforcement agencies to
track the culprits down since we had a name and physical address where the goods that were
ordered on our card were to be delivered and a date when two of the items were to be
delivered. But each police department I talked to said we had to have proof of where the crime
