14th Annual Gala

The Levy County Schools Foundation (LCSF) will be hosting its annual Gala on
               
Saturday, February 1, 2014. The event will take place at 6:00 p.m., (doors open at 5:30)

at the Williston Middle School.  The STARS Gala (Students, Teachers, and Respected
Supporters) -formerly known as the Superintendent's Gala, is the Foundation's premier
  
fundraising event. For the Levy County Schools Foundation, a not-for-profit organization
established in 1989 to support Levy County schools, this event has become a Levy County

tradition which provides an opportunity for members of the business community, civic

leaders, and local residents to gather in support of local education.
An exciting evening is planned with guest speaker Florida House Representa-

tive Will Weatherford of Wesley Chapel. Representative Weatherford was first elected in

2006 and is the current Speaker of the House. There will be a wonderful meal, exceptional
student entertainment, door prizes, a silent auction, and recognition of the Foundation s

Alumnus of the Year. The Gala theme this year is Stars Among Us.
